We are Can of Worms!

Taking East London by storm our eight piece band featuring drum kit, djembe, percussion, guitar, bass, special effects, sax/ flute and vocals has seen it's début through local gig's this month. Our unique sound and original music screams of creativity mixing earthy beats, a little punk and some soulful melody lines. No one song is the same and we guarantee that you'll leave our gigs with at least one CoW tune engrained in your psyche (forever).

The band have broken the ice with a couple of gigs over the past few weeks - the first being my wedding - ha! :)
The Wedding Gig -friendly audiences ;)
Silhouette Farm Jam was an awesome start to our real gigging career - an annual jam for local artists with a mellow vibe, camping chairs, braai's and space to dance on a Sunday afternoon.

Next up was our East London opening at Legends Showcase Venue in Berea - joined by three other local bands we rocked the Venue's socks off - need I say more?

Lead guitarist Niel
Jayson on Djembe

Debbie on percussion
Dave on the bass

Here's a great introduction to the band prior to the Legends gig from Karen at Show Me East London as well as a photographic article with us in action!

The response from audiences so far has been really exciting - positive feedback, lots of enthusiasm and a couple of groupies already!

This weekend see's CoW opening a Sunday of live music for South African talent Jeremy Loops - catch us at Wiseguys Bar and Grill at 3pm - pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment!

See you there!
