Vote for Can of Worms - IMEXSA Polls Still Open

Can of Worms is extremely excited to be a part of SA Indies Music Week next week at Gold Reef City in Johannesburg. The event is organised by the Independent Music Exporters of South Africa (IMEXSA) along with a whole host of domestic and international sponsors. Read our previous blog "Can of Worms Pre-Selected for SA Indies Music Week" to find out more about how we got selected to be a part this awesome event.

The festival will host 37 independent musicians and bands from all over South Africa in a range of genre's from traditional to gospel, rock to soul, dance and anything in between. It runs between 16th - 20th December where artists will meet and work with professionals in the industry to learn how to present themselves in the industry, how to network, how to maximize opportunities in radio, film and television. In addition to these learning opportunities artists will perform each evening at the Lyric Theatre in front of the panel of judges, fellow musicians and the public.

Can of Worms will be performing at the Lyric Theatre on Friday 18th December. 

On 20th Dec - the final day of the festival - the selected artists will be named at the Grande Finale, and will find out which international music festival(s) they have been selected for. There is also the opportunity for the "most voted artist" to have an additional performance slot this evening through the public vote. Can of Worms is SO eager to have this slot!
