Free as a Tree!

Can of Worms on the Festival of Trees Stage in Hogsback

Can of Worms were excited to perform at the Hogsback Festival of Trees over the weekend of 23rd - 25th September. The festival - hosted by Terra Khaya Eco-Lodge celebrates Arbour month and saw festival goers plant an amazing 2000 trees in an initiative sponsored by SA organisation Greepop.

The festival was a resounding success seeing the like-minded festival party actively participating in greening tasks; planting trees, clearing invasive plant and bush species and rehabilitating important forest and woodlands. Can of Worms took the opportunity to celebrate all the hard work in style playing a chilled afternoon set on the Festival stage set in the stunning Hogsback mountains.

We want to say a huge thanks to the team at Terra Khaya who hosted around 250 people in their beautiful, eco-minded space; feeding us delicious vegetarian meals and enjoying getting their hands dirty. The selection of local talent on show over the weekend was great to be a part of and the sound technicians were creative, accommodating and uber organised! We look forward to playing on your stage again soon :)
