Summer Festival Fun with CoW

Can of Worms rocked Tunes in the Trees this December!

Can of Worms has had such an awesome start to the SA Summer - the sun is shining, it's time to get festive! The band has enjoyed some amazing support from local music festivals and has loved being a part of the show. We featured at Tunes in the Trees Music Festival at Chintsa West spot Tea in the Trees, as well as at the #chintsaliving Music Fest hosted by The C Club.

Stop the Roller Coaster! April jamming the keys on one of our latest new songs

For those that know our music you will have noticed some new tunes in our set - two absolutely beautiful songs. Another Song is a creation from Steve which we've nicknamed "the Paris song" because the lilting guitar and clarinet intro reminds us of a stroll down a Parisian street. And Roller Coaster will be sure to have you singing along in no time - it's a serious ear-worm! Stop the Roller Coaster - I want to get off!!

Unfortunately rain stopped play earlier this week at the Bushpig Music Festival in Kei Mouth. We pass on a big apology to anyone that traveled out to see us perform and were disappointed - the weather is out of our control but please comment on this post if you traveled out to see us - we want to make it up to you!

Jay in our first studio recording of Mother Earth
This week also marks the last performance with Beefcake Baby Jay our awesome djembe and percussionist. Jay has made the difficult decision to leave the band but it's a parting on good terms. Jay will always be a member of the Worm family and we all wish Jay, his lovely wifey Michelle and son Corben the best of luck for the future - we look forward to seeing you jamming on the dance floor :)

That's us done for 2016 - signing off for some well deserved family time and relaxation. We're highly excited for 2017 and what it brings the worms - big plans are afoot with the imminent release of our first studio album and our trip abroad in the near future.

Thanks to everyone who's supported us thus far - sending our best wishes to you and yours for the new year ahead.
